41 mm gray cast iron racing cylinder with Latin American flair and 57 ccm for your Puch X30 Velux and X30 NG-2AH moped.
The valve timing profile of this tuning cylinder has been deliberately kept low, resulting in particularly strong torque in the lower RPM range.
Thanks to the generous sealing surface, unlike many other cylinder kits, no additional casting is required to close the slot in the housing. To install the cylinder on the ZA50-G engine, the housing may need to be reamed. If you want to install it on small motorcycles with DS, MV, MS, or VZ (EX50) engines, it is necessary to ream the housing.
Differences between the Sombrero Velux cylinder and the original BADASS cylinder when used with the matching GPO piston:
- The matching GPO piston has a longer intake valve timing, thereby allowing for slightly higher RPMs
- Matching GPO piston with L-piston ring
The Sombrero loves the nightlife and, in addition to tequila, also enjoys a little extra gas. On his last visit to the disco, he discovered his fondness for particularly large-bore 17 mm carburetors and powerful resonance flutes. Note: The cylinder is shipped loose and without a piston, gasket set, studs, or other mounting parts.
For easy installation, we recommend using 26 mm studs for the intake manifold and M6 nuts with a reduced wrench size. You’ll find both in the optional accessories section.
