Pinasco “Slave” engine casing with crankshaft (43 mm stroke / 12 mm bore) and dual intake, compatible with your Piaggio Ciao, Si, Bravo, Boxer, and Grillo moped.
The Pinasco “Power Casing” engine casing comes with a specially designed crankshaft that features a wider flange for controlling the intake at the rear intake port.
On this casing, you can install either a standard 13 mm Dellorto SHA carburetor at the rear or any side-mounted carburetor with a 24 mm connection on the diaphragm system. The frame may need to be modified for this.
With this twin-carburetor system, you can squeeze every last horsepower out of your race car.
The following parts are included in the package:
- Rear intake flange (16 mm connection, 13 mm inner diameter)
- Side-mounted diaphragm system, including a plug for the 13 mm flange if it is not being used.
- Mounting hardware for diaphragm flange (24 mm connection, 20 mm inner diameter)
- Cylinder studs
- Motor housing (for cylinder necks with an outer diameter up to 46 mm)
- Engine block bolts
- Pinasco Competition crankshaft with 43 mm stroke and 12 mm piston pins (axe 12)
- Installation instructions in English and Italian
No crankcase gasket is included. Sealant must be used for sealing.
For this racing crankcase, we recommend using the 42 mm Pinasco cylinder kit. Additionally, only electronic ignition systems can be installed on this crankcase.
If the engine is installed in a Piaggio Ciao frame, some material must be removed from the right side of the housing and cylinder; this is described in the assembly instructions.
